Monterey was the first capital of
California, and while it no longer has that distinction, it is one
of the top tourist destinations in the State. Monterey offers
coastal beauty and charm, while maintaining a “small town” feeling
unique from California’s larger Northern cities. Monterey offers the
World Famous Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row, luxury hotels,
fine dining, and even a smaller sister of the San Francisco

destination choices due to the great scenery and many tourist
