The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Salinas Valley (B&GCSV), as part of the nationwide Boys & Girls Clubs Movement, strives to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities to become responsible citizens and leaders. Based on proven principles of behavioral guidance and adult mentorship, the B&GCSV will help young people to succeed by building self-esteem and developing positive values during critical periods of childhood growth. PURPOSE The purpose of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Salinas Valley (B&GCSV) is to promote the social, educational, vocational, health, character development and guidance of youth. |
