CPY 's mission is to provide enriched afterschool and intersession opportunities from elementary through high school years. However, CPY is more than just a day care program. The organization offers alternatives to violence, builds resiliency and provides students structure through joint school/parent/ community partnerships. CPY forms relationships with the children and is committed to their continued well being. Research has shown that children who establish relationships with adult volunteers or mentors are more successful in school and socially than those who do not. |
