| Description: |
To research, convene and advocate to improve the quality of life for the historically disenfranchised communities of color and low-income. To do outreach and education around Environmental Justice isues within Fort Ord and the Monterey Peninsula. We build partnerships to address very real, adverse Environmental health effects at Superfund Federal facilities in the local minority & low income communities. We aim to address job related issues, training programs for affected community, real affordable housing, and Economic development. To create an open communication process, where members of impacted, minority community can participate in and benefit from reuse efforts. |
