Description: The mission of the Greek Dancers of the Monterey Peninsula is to encourage the appreciation of modern and traditional dances from the mountains, mainland, islands, and tavernas of Greece. Emphasis is on the vitality and cultural heritage embodied in the dance. Our goal is development of feeling, empathy, and ability to partake fully in the beauty and spontaneity of Greek dancing.
