The Lifespan Learning Network is a coalition of more than 50 non-profits and governmental agencies formed to provide information on lifelong learning educational opportunities.Its major purposes are(1)to expand public awareness of the lifelong educational opportunites ranging from early childhood through mature adult;(2)to improve communication and the dissemination of information between users and providers of lifelong learning opportunites through an internet site and on-line database,which permits users to search listings by multiple criteria;(3)to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of the community providers;and(4)to periodically print a directory of member organizations,including their area of service,and a master calendar of events. |
