LONGTIMERS is a series of documentary videos in which the history of the Monterey Peninsula during the 20th century is told by artists who have lived and worked in the area for much of the past 100 years. There are currently three volumnes in the LONGTIMERS series: These documentaries consist of three parts to date, Part I, features fine artists, including Sam Colburn, Nancy Johnson, Bruce Ariss and Gordon Newell. Part II, is a continuation of the first and features Wah Ming Chang, George De Graot, Hank Ketchum, Joe Nordmann, Anne Spencer and Eve Tartar. Part III, is subtitled The Music Makers, the third in the volumne and features the musicians of the Monterey Peninsula, including Ree Brunell, Jackie Coon, Eddie Erickson, Buddy Jones, Mike Msrotta and "Papa" Jake Stock. |
